day 30

this is the third time that i have had to say good bye to aLex. it seems to get harder every time. at least it is the last time.

i basically took the same route that i took on friday, except this time i stopped for a little longer at the hoover dam. as i saw a history channel show at the hotel on friday while waiting for aLex about the whole history of the dam, i didn't go into the tourist center or anything like that.

instead of taking the interstate as i did on friday, i took route 66 from kingman to ash fork. it was a nice change. there were lots of route 66 branded hotels, gas stations, stores, etc. i ate at the roadkill cafe in seligman.
