all that was on my mind today was getting to vegas and seeing aLex. it was a relatively quick trip and i didn't really plan on seeing much between williams, az and las vegas, nv. it was a pleasure to see the hoover dam. i didn't stop to do the tourist thing, but i got a few pictures. as there are not many routes out of vegas, i will probably have to cross over it again. maybe i will stop then.

aLex already had everything arranged. we were staying at the paris hotel, which wasn't too hard to find on the strip with the eiffel tower out front. since i had to take my bike to the local dealer, bmw of las vegas, for its 12,000 mile maintenance, i had to check in and unload everything before the valet drivers got mad at me for parking in the entry way. it wouldn't have been bad except that it was already about 95 degrees and there were tons of people to weave through with bags, helmet, etc.

after a brief delay at the airport, aLex finally made it. we already had reservations at nobu in the hard rock hotel. the dinner was great, but the service was just satifactory.
