after leaving great basin np, i crossed over into utah. the terrain and roads were similar to nevada, with large flat valleys surrounded by mountains. i took highway 21 most of the way. at one point, i did not see a car coming in the opposite direction for about 30 minutes. in the picture below, you can see the road gradually going up into the mountains.

Hi Pete, so great to read your comments and see the pictures. How fun to follow your adventures!
A couple of areas I wanted to see more detail, so I guess I just need to do some traveling myself.
I gave your blog info to my neighbor, Matt Lilemo, so he could follow along. He just came back from a 5 day trip to the Glacier area on his bike.
Hope all is well and stay safe--love from us, Mary, Jessica and Dan
Hi Pete, I tried but somehow became anonymous in my message to you--Mary
